Emergency Regent
Flag Roman Empire

The Honourable, His Excellency

Roman Emperor

Last holder

Antonius Felius

The Emergency Regent of the Roman Empire is an individual that is subordinate to the Roman Emperor. He/she is appointed by the Emperor to fulfil the Emperor's role should he become incapacitated. At the moment, the position of Emergency Regent has been suspended, because there is currently no need for such an office. The last Emergency Regent was Antonius Felius, who stepped down in 2005, following the death of Emperor Constantine XXII, during whose reign he ruled as Regent.
