The Republic of Ethiopia is a nation in Africa which was the only African country to succesfully resist Roman and New Greek colonization. It repelled multiple Roman invasions, and also conflicted with New Greek colonists on a few occasions, though Greek payment for colonized land and support during the Eritrean war has increased the nations' ties with one another.
