The InterVersal Control Faction Stability Standards is a categorisation system created by InterVersal Control which describes the general stability of every known faction in the Infinite Histories multiverse.
Levels[]
There are five levels in the IVCFSS system.
Stable[]
The term "Stable" in IVCFSS terms generally means one or more of the following:
- The nation is in no risk of dissolving or collapsing into civil war, nor is there any risk of war between the said nation and another faction.
- There is very low risk of the population to revolt against the government.
- The economy of the nation is stable.
At risk[]
The term "At risk" in IVCFSS terms generally means one or more of the following:
- The nation has a slight, but very slight, chance of collapsing. The said nation has many strained relationships with other nations and has a risk of going to war against other nations.
- There is a low risk of the population to revolt against the government.
- The economy is slightly unstable.
At war[]
The term "At war" in IVCFSS terms generally means one or more of the following:
- The nation has a medium chance of collapsing, as it is participating in a war, either civil or international.
- There is a medium to high risk of the population to revolt against the government, if this has not occurred prior to the said nation is catalogued as a nation at war by the IVCFSS.
- The economy may be unstable.
Unstable[]
The term "Unstable" in IVCFSS terms generally means one or more of the following:
- The nation has a very high chance of collapsing. This may be for many reasons.
- There is a very high chance of the population to revolt against the government, if this has not occurred prior to the said nation is catalogued as unstable by the IVCFSS.
- The economy is extremely unstable.
Defunct[]
The term "Defunct" in IVCFSS terms generally means one or more of the following:
- The nation has already collapsed or dissolved. This may be for many reasons.
- The population has successfully revolted against the government, destroying it and either causing the nation to collapse into anarchy or establishing a new government in its place.
- The economy has collapsed entirely.
- The nation is a historical faction that no longer exists.
