The First Republic of Arawak (American Latin: Réspublica Arawak) was a constitutional democracy established following the dissolution of the Roman Dominion of Amazonia Minor in 1997. Its territory was composed of two enclaves separated by Marajoara. Despite being a democracy, it only ever had one President before its collapse thanks to a Socialist uprising in 2000. The revolution resulted in a split country: the Second Republic of Arawak was established in the north and the Democratic Socialist Republic of Arawak in the south.
