Saratiinakka Quan was a Xanj explorer who was instrumental in initiating first contact between her country and the Roman Empire. She was the head of the scout group that first made contact with the Romans in the city of Byzantium. Today, she is hailed by both Romans and Xanj as one of the most important people in the history of Romano-Xanj relations.
